Microsoft Band shutdown and wearable band refunds
As per verge article, Microsoft has removed support for its health fitness & sports devices & accessories. Microsoft is gradually discontinuing support for its apps on Microsoft, Apple and Google Play stores very soon. However, Microsoft is rolling the dice to its longtime band customers. Users need not worry about this as they can export their health records until the end of May. All major medical and health functionality parameters from the Microsoft health dashboard such as daily workouts, steps etc can be transferred to the new device that they choose to port. However, if the band resets, users won't be able to port the data. Some bands are eligible for a full refund from Microsoft. Please follow this Microsoft form link to claim your refund.
